In addition to being a theme park designer
and operator, Arto Monaco was a multi-talented
artist who drew, painted, sculpted, and built
many, many kinds of delightful things.
For some years he was a toy designer
and manufacturer with a factory in Upper Jay,
making educational toys which sold at
nationally known department stores as well as
Santa's Workshop. He also designed and built
prototypes for a toy and game developer
in New York City for many years.

The Arto Monaco Historical Society is actively
trying to purchase the many creations
Arto left behind in order to ensure their
safe-keeping for years to come.
